Group Exercise


The Corpus Christi Athletic Club Group Exercise Program offers a wide variety of classes for our members of all fitness levels. We proudly offer our members all the Les Mills series classes as well as many others. We encourage you to try any or all the class you would like, each can be adapted to your personal fitness level. Our instructors are the finest in the area, with knowledge and experience to provide a safe and fun atmosphere in each class.

BODYATTACK
A 55-minute, sports-inspired, hi/lo cardio workout for building strength and stamina.

BODYCOMBAT
A 55-minute, martial arts-based fitness program with moves from karate, taekwondo, kung fu, kickboxing, muay thai & tai chi.

BODYFLOW
A 55-minute yoga, tai chi & pilates workout that leaves you feeling long, strong, centered and calm.

BODYJAM
A 55-minute cardio workout set to the latest music and greatest dance moves.

BODYPUMP
A revolutionary weight-training workout that strengthens, tones and defines every muscle in you body. (55 min.)

BODYSTEP
A simple, athletic step workout with high intensity intervals followed by muscle conditioning tracks that will shape and tone your entire lower body and push your fat burning systems into high gear.

BODYVIVE
A low-impact class integrating cardio fitness, resistance training and stretching and mobility work. Open to all levels. (55 min.)

Family BODYVIVE
A low impact class integrating cardio fitness, resistance training and stretching and mobility work. This class is not only designed for active adults but parents and their children ages 9-12 are welcomed. All children must be accompanied by an adult during the class. (55 min.)

CARDIO SCULPT
Get the best of both worlds! A hi/lo cardio workout which also includes resistance training. Sculpt and tone your muscles using resistance bands, tubes, hand weights and stability balls. (55 min.)

CARDIO SALSA
A Latin style hi/lo dance aerobics class. Open to all levels. (55 min.)

CORE TRAINING
25 minutes of abdominal and lower back strengthening exercises.

FIT AND FUN
An adult recreational aquatic exercise program designed to accommodate the abilities of individuals with limitations. The class improves muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility. (60 min.)

THE JOURNEY
Venture into new territory in this 60 minute cycle class and explore the edges of your mind and body while improving performance and strength. For the experienced rider.

LINE DANCE
Fun and exciting country line dance instruction for cardiovascular fitness. Beginning instruction held on Tuesdays. (60 min.)

MUSCLE POWER HOUR
100 percent pure muscle sculpting from head to toe using a variety of equipment, from steps to weights, along with lunges, squats, dips, and power moves to get those muscles into shape. (55 min.)


PILATES
A strength and flexibility training class, utilizing exercises developed by Joseph Pilates. All levels. (55 min.)

PiYo
A unique combination of Pilates & yoga - the best of both worlds. Open to all levels. (55min.)

POWER YOGA
Intermediate to advanced level with a focus on strength, endurance and flexibility. (55 min. unless otherwise stated)

ROAD RIDE
Taking stationary cycling to a whole new dimension by adding great music, a motivational instructor and a group exercise setting. Beginner to intermediate level. Bring a friend and have fun! (45 min.)

RPM
A 50-minute, indoor cycling class based on the outdoor riding feel. Ride to inspirational music over the equivalent of 20-25 kilometers of varied terrain, controlling the intensity of your workout with a resistance dial and pedal speed.

WATER-ROBICS
An aerobic, total body workout performed in chest deep water. (60 min.)

WATER JOGGING
Just as the name states, this is a water jogging class with no impact. (55 min.)

YOGA
A practice of adopting awareness, utilizing deep, rhythmic breathing and controlled postures to increase energy flow through the body, reduce tension and stress and quiet the mind. All levels welcome. (55 min.)

 

RPM +

Go the distance!  A 60 minute RPM class with 2 additional song tracks!  Test your endurance level.
